Course Goal
Create a clear, structured postflop strategy aimed at maximum exploitation of the field up to ABI 50.
GTO (Game Theory Optimal)
Definition: A strategy that cannot be exploited, meaning no counter-strategy can be devised that will yield more profit over the long run.
- Creates indifference in the opponent (they are indifferent to calling or folding).
- Used at high stakes (ABI 100+) against strong players.
- Requires precise value/bluff balance.
- Example: with a 67% pot bet, 29% bluffs are needed for balance.
Example: 7 value bets / 3 bluffs out of 10 bets → opponent plays 0 EV.
Exploitative Strategy
Definition: Deviation from GTO to increase profit against specific weaknesses (leaks) in the field or player.
- Deliberate abandonment of balance.
- Used at stakes up to ABI 215 (especially effective up to ABI 50).
- Vulnerable to counter-exploit if the opponent adapts.
Examples:
- If opponent underfolds (fold < 40%) → bet only for value.
- If opponent overfolds (fold > 60%) → expand bluff range to 100%.

In 3-bet pots the same principles apply, but bets are usually smaller (30-35%) to remain unreadable.
Recommended Bet Buttons
- 30% — standard bluff
- 50% — universal value/draw
- 70% — value vs recreational player / strong hand
- 120% — overbet in specific lines

Conclusion
GTO is necessary to understand the fundamentals,
