LN (Lost Non-Showdown Pots)
Definition
LN — the percentage of pots lost without reaching showdown.
Example
- LN = 38% → In 38% of the hands a player participated in, they lost without showing cards — either folded to a bet or bluffed and got called.
Typical LN Ranges

| 29–32% | Tight, reaches showdown often, good at bluff-catching |
| 35–38% | Average regular or recreational player |
| 38–41% | Weak player, folds often, gives up pots without a fight |
How to Use LN
- Low LN (29–32%) → Bluff less, focus on value.
- High LN (38–41%) → Bluff more, especially on later streets.
- LN helps in choosing lines and sizings:
- vs high LN → overbets on the turn work well, double-barrel bluffs on the river succeed more often.
In HUD Stats
LN can be inferred from related stats in HUD software (PokerTracker, Hand2Note):
- WSD (Went to Showdown)
- WTSD (Went to Showdown when Saw Flop)
- WWSF (Won When Saw Flop) — used together with others.
