OOP Postflop Principles
1. Flop C-Bet
- Value: overpairs, top pair with good kicker, sets, two pairs
- vs Recreational: top pair with weak kicker, second/third pair with good kicker
- Semi-bluffs: strong draws (flush draw, gutshot + overcards, backdoor draws)
- Sizing: 40–60%, occasionally 33% to induce floats and for protection
2. Check Actions
- Check-Call:
- vs aggression — top pair with weak kicker, second pair, nut draws
- Catch bluffs from aggro regs and active recreational players
- Check-Raise:
- vs Regs — value + semi-bluffs (8+ outs, gutshots, overcards without equity)
- vs Recreational — only value and strong draws
- Check-Fold: weak hands without showdown equity
3. Bluff Lines
- Bet–Bet (2 streets): flop 33%, turn 75–100%, river check (vs recreational and average regs)
- Bet–Bet–Bet: flop 33%, turn 50%, river 85–150% (vs aggro regs, range blocking)
- Bet–Check–Bet: for thin value / cheap bluff, river 85%
- Check–Check–Bet: river 50–75%, often fold

Common Mistakes
- Excessive bluffing OOP — especially vs recreational and passive regs
- Flop check-fold > 25% — too vulnerable, need to use hands with equity
- Turn check-fold > 40% — too predictable
General Tips
- Maintain value/bluff balance, especially vs regs
- Use alternative lines (delay C-Bet, check-raise) for unpredictability
- Avoid double-barrelling the river without improvement
- Track opponent stats (fold to cbet, bet vs missed cbet) and adjust frequencies
- Use backdoor draws for semi-bluffs
- Occasionally check strong hands to trap
